Founded in 2018 by Erin and Tony Smith and extended family, Kristen and Mike Nelson, Ab Astris Winery is deeply rooted in family values and traditions. Located amidst the beautiful landscapes of Stonewall, Texas, the winery's name, which translates to "of the stars" from Latin, reflects our celestial inspiration and aspiration to create wines that capture the spirit of Texas terroir.

Our 12-acre vineyard plays host to a variety of grape types, carefully chosen to thrive in the Texas climate:

• Tannat
• Souzao
• Clairette Blanche
• Petite Syrah
• Montepulciano
