History and Background

Burgdorf's Winery was founded in 2005 by Deb and Dave Burgdorf in Haslett, MI. Beginning as a mid-Michigan "Garagiste" winery, it carved a niche for producing Truly Michigan™ wines. After nearly two decades of service in Haslett, the original tasting room closed on December 22, 2024. The Burgdorfs have recently opened a new tasting venue at Choice Farm Market in Webberville, continuing their tradition of wine-making and community involvement.

Burgdorf's Winery stands out for its dedication to producing award-winning wines using estate-grown fruits and those sourced from local Michigan farmers.
