Welcome to Cartersville Country Winery, nestled in the picturesque countryside just outside Florence, South Carolina. With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, we offer a unique experience for every wine enthusiast.

History and Background

Founded in 2009, our vineyard spans over 20 acres, flourishing despite challenges, including a devastating fire in 2022 that destroyed our tasting and bottling rooms. We swiftly adapted, establishing a temporary tasting room in our wedding venue to continue sharing our wines.

Vineyard Details and Wine Production

We meticulously grow, harvest, crush, and press our grapes on-site, predominantly using the muscadine variety known for its robust flavor and southern charm. Our esteemed Wine Master, Carlos Norton, creatively names our wines, drawing inspiration from local landscapes like swamps and rivers:

• Sweet Red: 'Lynches River Red'
• Dry Red: 'Sparkleberry Delight'
• Sweet White: 'Moonlight Imagination'

Additionally, we craft delicious fruit wines, including Peach, Strawberry, Blueberry, Blackberry, Cranberry, Elderberry, Farm Blend, Pomegranate, and Apple.

Tastings and Tours

• Hours: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Enjoy a comprehensive wine tasting experience, sampling all 12 varieties for $15, and delve deeper with a guided tour of our winery.
