Castle Vineyards is named in honor of Ralph Castle Davis, a respected local businessman and farmer, and serves as a living tribute carried forward by his descendants. The vineyard is uniquely integrated into a working cattle farm, maintaining a herd of about 35 Angus cattle.

The vineyard's primary grape variety is Viognier, with ambitious plans to expand the vineyard in Spring 2023. Castle Vineyards proudly partners with Barren Ridge Vineyards, leveraging their expertise in aging and bottling distinguished wines.
