History and Background

Clermont Vineyards & Winery was established over a decade ago on what was once a dairy farm near Clermont State Park. The transformation of this land into a state-of-the-art vineyard began in 2014 when the winery started selling its wines to the public. As a testament to their dedication and quality, they are proud members of the New York Wine & Grape Foundation and the Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association, as well as participants in the Hudson Berkshire Beverage Trail.

Vineyard Details and Wine Production

• Location: Clermont, NY
• Size: 7 acres of vineyards with approximately 4,000 vines
• Wine Production: The majority of Clermont Vineyards' wines are produced from grapes grown on-premises, except for three variants imported from a cousin’s winery in Portugal.

Visitor Information and Experiences

• Season and Hours: Open seasonally from April to the end of the year, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only.
• Reservations: Not required. Visits are on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are encouraged to call ahead on the desired day to gauge busyness.
• Private Events: Currently, the winery does not host private parties.
• Food Policy: Guests are welcome to bring their own food. However, no outside beverages are allowed. Nearby Cue2Go BBQ offers a convenient option for picking up food to enjoy with your wine.
