The founders, motivated by a desire to continue and enrich their family legacy, embarked on a journey to produce distinct Rhône-style red wines. Through dedicated efforts and extensive soil and vine research, Esmé represents a generational pivot towards viticulture driven by passion and innovation.

Vineyard Details and Wine Production

Nestled on a plot known affectionately as "The Hill," Esmé Vineyards boasts 7 acres of prime vine-growing land characterized by its rocky terrain and well-draining soil. Here’s a snapshot of its cultivation progress:

• Plantable Space: 7 acres known as The Hill.
• Initial Planting: In 2022, 2 acres each of Syrah and Grenache were planted.
• Future Initiatives: Includes the addition of Mourvèdre vines in 2023.
• Unique Aspects: Contains various Grenache clones and was fortunate to mistakenly plant 344 Mourvèdre vines, adding to the diversity of the vineyard.
