Eternal Wine: Discover the Essence of Walla Walla Valley
History and Background
Eternal Wine, nestled in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley, was founded in 2014 by the virtuous winemaker Brad Binko. A Buffalo, NY native, Binko embarked on his winemaking journey at Northeastern University and the University at Buffalo, before earning his stripes at WWCC’s prestigious Enology and Viticulture program. As a certified sommelier and recipient of the 2017 Bill Powers Sabbatical, Binko’s passion has taken him as far as Chile to study the Carmenere varietal, enhancing his expertise and shaping Eternal Wine’s unique offerings.
Vineyard Details and Wine Production
Eternal Wine multiplies its efforts to spotlight Washington State’s best varietals, concentrating annually on producing 2,500 cases from their dynamically cultivated vineyards. With a profound focus on single vineyard bottlings, the winery elevated its reputation in 2016 by producing 10 distinct Syrah selections. Additionally, it champions Rhone varietals like Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier, and Grenache Blanc. Recognition has also come through its Drink Washington State label, particularly for the Carmenere which has been awarded best in the Pacific Northwest multiple times.
