Parma Ridge Winery Overview

Parma Ridge Winery, known for its exquisite wines and breathtaking views of the Boise River, combines a rich history with contemporary winemaking and culinary offering. This overview provides detailed information about their history, wine production, visitor experiences, notable wines, and contact details.

History and Background

Parma Ridge Winery was established by Dick and Shirley Dickstein in 1998 when they planted a 9.5-acre vineyard. Storm and Stephanie Hodge purchased Parma Ridge and transformed it into what it is today, having opened the wines tasting room in August of 2015. The pair converted an old garage/shop into the current tasting room and bistro and added a scenic patio overlooking the vineyard.

Vineyard Details and Wine Production

Parma Ridge prides itself on hand-crafted estate wines, made predominantly from grapes grown in their own vineyard. In 2017, a new Barrel Room was completed and now serves as the production facility and a venue for special events. Storm Hodge, co-owner, acts as both the winemaker and head chef, ensuring that each bottle of wine is crafted to enhance the gourmet food offerings at the bistro.
